Evacuation Intercom Systems For Lifts
BigVoice™ Intercom is a Multi-Station Intercom system for general lift use and market leading system for evacuation applications designed to meet the requirements of BS5588 Part 12.
It provides clear voice communication between any two of thirty-two stations and background line monitoring ensures that when idle it is still ready for use.
BigVoice™ is available in a range of architectural finishes to suit any site, in either flush or surface mount housings.
• Flexible system. Based on Echelon™ LonWorks™ wiring is free topology, with only 4 wires required for each unit.
• Clear & Easy To Use. In an emergency BigVoice ™ LCD screen gives the user Caller ID and the location on each station.
• Speech collected via sensitive microphone is digitised so a soft voice 2 metres away is clearly heard meaning that if required it can be installed in the ceiling of a lift car.
• Simple “Hands Free” communication for called stations controlled by “Press to Call” operation of Master.
• Simultaneous calls displayed in a queue and prioritised by Master.
• Function menu protected by user “Security Pass Code”.
• Range of tones differentiates between the types of call.
• “System Idle Mode” continually performs background self-check to ensure the system integrity when not in use. Any fault detected are reported by an alarm.
• Battery backed mains power supply can be located anywhere on the system. Audible tones warn of low battery voltage and mains failure conditions.
• Additional stations can be added easily for future expansion of the system.
BigVoice™ smaller cousin LittleVoice™ provides a simple hybrid visual/voice alternative for evacuation applications.
